This piece is completed in Conte pastel (pencils, soft and hard pastel) on Fisher 400 pastelmat. The inspiration came from a photo by a fellow artist Kate Wimbush (www.katewimbush.co.uk) who uses the pieces in her hand crafted jewellery. The pile of fruit pieces scattered randomly with bright colours and odd shapes created a mouth-watering challenge that shows the beauty and flexibility of pastels to their full value. It is an impressionistic expressive piece that will add a dash of colour and variety to any wall.
It is 16 x 12 inches in size, mounted in a white acid free mount and framed in a white wooden frame. It has a certificate of authenticity and is ready to hang, it is shipped in its own frame box via courier.
